Fee Schedule

In plain terms

  • Membership is £99 a year, plus VAT where applicable.
  • It renews automatically each year. We email you at least 30 days before renewal.
  • You can turn off renewal at any time in your account.
  • There is no fee for expressing interest, for introductions or for submitting an opportunity.
  • If you list an opportunity and it leads to a completed deal with a party ABTA introduced, you pay a success fee of 1.798% of the transaction value, plus VAT where applicable.

1. Annual membership fee

£99 per year, plus VAT where applicable. Payable in advance by debit or credit card through our payment provider, Stripe. Membership starts when payment is confirmed and lasts 12 months.

2. Renewal

Membership renews automatically at the then-current fee. We will email you at least 30 days before the renewal date with the date and price. You can turn off renewal at any time before the renewal date in Your Deal Room, or by emailing ami@abta.africa.

3. Introduction and success fees

  1. There is no fee for Interest Confirmations or introductions.
  2. A success fee of 1.798% of the Transaction value, plus VAT where applicable, is payable by the Member that submitted the Opportunity when it completes a Transaction with an Introduced Party.
  3. The success fee is payable within 30 days of completion. There is no minimum or maximum fee.
  4. “Transaction value” means the total amount invested, lent or paid, or the total value of the consideration, under the Transaction.
  5. “Opportunity”, “Transaction” and “Introduced Party” have the meanings given in the Platform Membership Agreement.

4. Submitting an opportunity

There is no charge to submit an opportunity for review or to publish an approved listing. The success fee in section 3 applies if the opportunity leads to a completed Transaction with an Introduced Party.

5. Refunds

You can get a full refund of the membership fee if you cancel within 14 days of first joining and have not submitted an Interest Confirmation or an opportunity. Otherwise, there is no refund for the remainder of the membership year. This does not affect any rights you have by law.
